BLS certification is geared towards prehospital providers, like EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, and in-facility hospital providers. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.
Individuals who are healthcare providers or professional rescuers who are required, to be certified in CPR and the use of an AED:
ASHI's CPR and AED training course is designed specifically for laypeople and is an excellent choice for CPR and defibrillator training in both community and workplace settings. This extremely flexible program will help prepare individuals to respond to sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and choking incidents. This CPR and AED course conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC.

This first aid, AED, and CPR certification course option is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC, and the 2015 AHA and ARC Guidelines Update for First Aid.
Individuals who require or desire first aid, AED, and CPR classes that deliver comprehensive emergency care knowledge and skills:
ASHI Pediatric CPR, AED, and First Aid training program provides an ideal training solution for schools, child care providers, youth sports coaches, and others required to learn how to respond to medical emergencies involving children and infants. This versatile program is based upon the 2015 CPR and First Aid Guidelines, Caring for Our Children, 3rd Ed; and other evidence-based treatment recommendations.
Individuals seeking pediatric CPR training or who are required to be certified in pediatric CPR, AED, and first aid
The State of Georgia’s Care Professional Fire Safety Course is designed to provide a care professional working with pre-school children or the Elderly in “group day care homes” and “day care centers” basic information about fire safety so they may provide the occupants of their facility with a least a minimum level of protection from fire and the potential risks associated with fire.
Upon completion of this course, the participants will be issued a Care Professional Certificate from the Georgia Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner’s Office that is valid for three (3) years.
The Georgia Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner’s Office mandates that all employees of “group day care homes” and “day care centers” must have this training within 90 days of employment and have a renewal course every three years.
1st Response Safety provides both classroom and hands on the safe and effective use of fire extinguishers.
Students learn the proper technique for selecting and using a portable fire extinguisher.
Students will also get the opportunity to actually use a fire extinguisher during class.
